Description:
The 1990 Clean Air Act requires that benzene in finished gasoline must not exceed 1 volume percent in the total pool effective in January 1, 1995. The amount of processing required by refiners to meet this specification will vary depending upon current pool benzene levels, the refinery processing complexity and crude source.
