The Phillips 66 Alliance Refinery developed the “Safety Trail” in 2008 out of the need to remind employees and visitors of certain events and lessons learned from past events. The "Safety Trail" was implemented to help all of us improve our Safety Awareness, and our Hazard Recognition Skills. The Joint Safety, Health and Environment Committee selected events from a 5 year period – recordables, serious near misses, environmental events and process safety events.
