This session is intended to provide refiners with insight from experience when considering deferring shutdowns and or planning for long awaited shutdown events in hydroprocessing and hydrogen generation facilities. Presenters will cover global refinery complex impacts for operations and environmental challenges, cycle length extension evaluation, and proper TA preparations associated with shutdown deferment and cycle extensions. Attendees will capture a specific set of actionable punch list items to address for the following topics: Impacts to operating units external to the hydroprocessing facility, Operations at extended cycle lengths, and readiness evaluations for shutdowns and subsequent maintenance periods.
