07:00 am - 12:00 pm Kartchner Caverns: The Underground Journey
You will travel through Southeastern Arizona to Benson, approximately 1 hour from the JW Marriott Starr Pass. Your naturalist/guide will share the history and the founding of Kartchner Caverns as well as the history of Tombstone and Bisbee en route.

An incredible limestone cave in southeastern Arizona, Kartchner Caverns State Park boasts many world-class features that have been protected since the cave was discovered in 1974. It was just recently opened and dedicated as an Arizona State Park on November 5, 1999. The caverns were formed approximately 500,000 years ago. It has been surveyed at 2.4 miles long. Kartchner Caverns is a wet, “live” cave, where water percolates from the surface and calcium carbonate features continue to grow in the darkness.

Fee: $85, minimum 10 people.
08:00 am - 01:00 pm Golf Tournament
08:30 am - 12:00 pm City Slickers Cattle Drive
Travel back to “The Old West”, where you will experience first hand the real cowboy spirit. Not a dude ranch or a theme park, but rather a real working cattle ranch situated on unspoiled desert terrain. Guests will enjoy the rustic atmosphere and real cowboy hospitality. This isn’t a Western movie; it’s the real thing! You’ll be mounted up on a ranch horse, and with some cowboy teamwork, drive a herd of cattle from one pasture to another. The ranch hands and wranglers will teach you how to keep the herd together and moving, and instruct you on the unique language of the open range (YIP! YIP!) Walking, trotting or galloping will depend on your ability and comfort level with your new "partner". So saddle up and move 'em out!
*Sturdy shoes & long pants required. Sunscreen recommended.

Fee: $185, minimum 20 people.
Desert Jeep Adventure
Ride through the desert with the wind in your hair and the sun on your back on our fun-filled, educational, four-wheel-drive tour. You will explore the beauty of the Sonoran Desert up close as you ride through the hills, canyons, and arroyos that surround the Old Pueblo.

The tour begins as you journey through some of the most beautiful and rugged desert wilderness surrounding Tucson. You'll travel from civilization to primitive country inhabited only by wildlife and ghosts of days gone by. Your guide will acquaint you with the “sights and sounds” of the area. You will have the opportunity to see the abundance of cacti variety, including the giant Saguaro in their natural habitat. Bring your camera - the endless views of lush desert valleys and towering mountains are ones you won't forget.
