API 570 - "Piping Inspection Code: In-service Inspection, Repair, and Alteration of Piping Systems"
Presented by Mark Smith, MSTS This one day seminar on in-service piping inspection, repairs, maintenance and alteration will summarize the highlights of the most important information you need to know about the subject, and provide you with a number of “real world” examples of solutions to issues you may encounter with piping systems. It is based on the recently published fourth edition of the API 570 Code, November, 2009, which contains a significant amount of new material. This seminar is especially important because statistical data confirms that failure of piping systems is the most common form of equipment problems in the refining and process industries. |

Reliability and Integrity Management of Safety Instrumented Systems
Presented by Kathy Shell & Mike Scott, AE Solutions This seminar is on the fundamentals of implementing the ISA-84.00.01(IEC 61511) Safety Lifecycle for the design, installation and integrity management of Safety Instrumented Systems. It is suitable for plant managers, engineers, project managers, maintenance supervisors and technicians. It will expose participants to the safety life-cycle and its application to several real-world examples. Initial concepts will be presented to the class via instruction, and then reinforced through a series of worked examples and open classroom discussion. Attendees will receive a course manual and certificate of participation. |
