NPRA is planning a one-day Training Forum for its regular refining and petrochemical members on Tuesday, August 26, 2009 from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm in Houston, Texas. This is the first time NPRA has dedicated a full-day meeting to training issues. The purpose of the Training Forum is to give individuals with similar training responsibilities an opportunity to share information about their companies’ programs with their peers, benefit from the experiences of others, discuss specific topics in a roundtable discussion format, and envision what steps NPRA can take to support members’ training activities in the future.
The forum is being planned for individuals whose responsibilities include:
- Training that supports refinery/petrochemical plant operations such as:
- Technical
- Operations
- Crafts
- Process safety management
- Leadership skills.
- Technical
- Developing strategies for training
- Managing the training function.
Registration is limited to NPRA refining and petrochemical members. If you are unable to register please send a request to trainingforum@npra.org.
