The International Petrochemical Conference is the world's largest and most prestigious conference representing the petrochemical industry.
The meeting consists of a variety of sessions covering key political, economic, and environmental issues affecting the petrochemical industry. The sessions emphasize global competitiveness in the petrochemical business and are presented by recognized experts in the areas of petrochemical markets, economics and politics.
NPRA also hosts a number of social functions which offer attendees an opportunity to become acquainted with their business associates. Various companies also sponsor smaller functions to focus on specific areas of interest.

Who Should Attend:
The conference attracts more than 3000 attendees in the petrochemical industry including planners, marketers, sales representatives, engineers and senior management. Over 600 companies are represented from approximately 45 countries. At the 2006 conference more than 40% of the attendees were from outside the United States.Meeting Attire:

Cancellation and Other Policies:
HOTEL RESERVATION POLICY: November 1 - 30 is reserved for NPRA member registration and housing ONLY. NPRA reserves the right to cancel any hotel reservation made during the NPRA member priority processing period when it is determined that the individual the reservation is for is not employed by an NPRA member company. Member determination will be made in accordance with membership information currently on file with NPRA.A new reservation can be made beginning December 1, when open registration begins.
REGISTRATION POLICY: Those who are present at the site of an NPRA meeting and/or occupy a hotel room in the NPRA room block to conduct business with industry personnel gathered for that meeting are expected to register for that meeting and pay the registration fee, whether or not they attend a specific function.
SPOUSE/GUEST POLICY: A guest is a spouse/significant other, friend or an adult child (18 years old or older) who is not in an industry-related occupation. A co-worker, an associate or spouse who works within the industry may not use the Spouse/Guest registration category.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be made on-line or received in writing. No cancellations will be taken over the phone. Cancellations may be made by February 23, 2007, with no penalty. Cancellations done on-line or written cancellations postmarked, faxed, or emailed between February 24 and March 9, 2007, will receive a refund of fees, less a $50 processing fee. No refunds after March 9, 2007.
Substitute conference registrations may be made in advance or on arrival with no penalty.
TICKET REFUND POLICY: INDIVIDUAL - Refunds will be made on individual tickets purchased, if request is received in writing prior to March 9, 2007. No refunds after March 9. Ticketed functions are open to registered attendees ONLY.
TICKET REFUND POLICY: TABLES of 10 - Refunds will be made on tables of tickets purchased, if request is received in writing prior to February 23, 2007. No refunds after February 23. Ticketed functions are open to registered attendees ONLY.
FEE POLICY: Registration fees will be assessed in accordance with membership information currently on file with NPRA. If you have improperly indicated fees to be charged, the correct fees will be charged to your credit card.
ENTERTAINMENT POLICY: We ask your cooperation in observing Association policy on activities held in conjunction with any NPRA meeting:
* Meetings or social activities should not be scheduled that take registrants away from NPRA programs and NPRA-sponsored activities;
* Any company sponsoring a function to which 50 or more people are invited should outline its plans for advance approval by NPRA. In general, such functions will be approved if they do not unduly take registrants away from NPRA-sponsored activities;
* All representatives of companies sponsoring hospitality activities are expected to register for the meeting;
Hospitality suites are expected to close by 1:00 a.m.;
* Food, beverage and service personnel (bartenders, hostesses, etc.) must be obtained through the hotel catering department;
* Suite promotional activities are to avoid the use of elaborate entertainment, expensive door prizes, suite attendance solicitation by individuals who are not full-time employees of the sponsoring company, or other similar activities.
