The Labor Outlook Roundtable is a forum where owner companies and contractors can come together to review workforce issues that are pertinent in today’s refining and petrochemical industries, in particular the skilled crafts and construction labor pool. This one-day meeting will address the present state of workforce demands for refining, chemical, power generation, LNG facilities, and pipelines. The meeting’s topics also include (tentative):
- State and Local Workforce Programs and Initiatives
- Expanding the Workforce
- Engineering and Other Non-Craft Resources
- Workforce Needs of the Future
A speaker from the US Department of Labor will describe the federal government’s labor outlook and describe the actions it is taking to meet specific industry needs.
The meeting schedule allows a significant amount of time for discussion following each presentation as well as networking with other attendees.
