The Operating Practices Symposium (OPS) is a joint NPRA/API meeting which provides a forum for the exchange of information on safe operating practices in refineries and petrochemical plants. The information exchange usually focuses on facility incidents or near misses.
The Fall OPS will take place November 15, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The Spring OPS will take place May 2, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, TX.
