UOP’s Refining and Petrochemical Services group has assisted numerous clients in improving their profitability. LG-Caltex Oil recently worked with UOP on a program to improve profitability at the LG-Caltex refining and petrochemical complex in Yosu, Korea. This paper discusses key issues and strategies affecting profitability and presents the results of the LG-Caltex program.
