AM-06-57 Temperature Accuracy and Low Sulfur Requirements

This paper will deal with the parameters around temperature measurement “accuracy” of most modern temperature measurement systems and how those parameters can impact the challenges faced in meeting low sulfur fuels requirements. We will define accuracy both as the deviation from the actual temperature and in the responsiveness of the sensor to change in temperature. It will also be useful to discuss how different temperature measurement systems impact the reactor system as a whole.
