Description:

A significant increase in pipeline capacity will be required to accommodate the growth in supply and the changes in market demand. Pipeline initiatives include expansions of the mainline system into core markets and extensions into new markets. Current projects scheduled for completion by 2010 will expand existing U.S. mainline capacity by 1.2 Mbpd and will add a new extension of the mainline to Patoka, Indiana with capacity of 800,000 bpd. Other initiatives under development include building new pipelines to the West Coast, the U.S. Gulf Coast, the Canadian section of the mainline, and projects that will enable producers to access diluent supply from the Chicago area and from offshore sources. Enbridge will address these developments and the changing market in this presentation.
