Description:

Methaforming uses a proprietary novel zeolite catalyst in a process flow scheme similar to naphtha hydrotreating. Methaforming yields and associated octane numbers are comparable to isomerization + continuous catalyst regeneration (CCR) reforming. However, Methaforming is a one-step process that can replace naphtha desulfurization, reforming, isomerization and benzene removal thereby reducing costs to as little as a third of typical costs of conventional technologies.
