Description:

Using a newly-developed high silicon zeolite catalyst (CTL- 1) , the DSCOP process can selectively crack paraffinic distillate and, at the same time, polymerize CZ -C4 olefins to produce low pour point diesel fuel, high octane gasoline and LPG mainly containing Cs-C, hydrocarbons. In comparison with distillate selective cracking process (DSC), the equilibrium reaction temperature of DSCOP is 15 - 20 % lower, while the yield of liquid products is 3- 6 wt% higher. A commercial unit had been continuously on stream for 323 days in its first period of operation with appreciable economic benefit and confirmed the merits of DSCOP process.
