Description:
An ultra-low Pt content reforming catalyst, having Pt (0.15 wt%) I Re and a third metallic component supported on a new type of y-Al,O,, has been developed, which was named as HR-21. Experimental results showed that the catalyst has high activity, selectivity, mechanic strength, as well as good stability and regenerativity. The catalyst HR-21 has been successfully applied in a commercial unit with 150,000 tons annual capacity.
