At the NPRA meeting two years ago, Art Suchanek and Gary Hamilton presented a paper on the SynSat Process’ and on the first page they said among other things “Use your existing equipment.” On reading this, two of Art’s former colleagues, Hans van Weelden, the President of BETA and Eddie Davies, the Technical Manager decided to take him up on this (the three had worked together at the Gulf Europoort Refinery in Rotterdam in the early seventies).
