Description:
The goal of every FCC operation is to minimize bottoms yield while increasing only desirable and high value products. MAPCO PETROLEUM has moved further towards this goal through the use of INTERCAT's BCA-105 additive at a concentration level of approximately 6 weight percent of the catalyst. The low value bottoms yield was reduced by approximately one-third with a corresponding increase in higher value products without increases in coke and dry gas.
