This paper will update the performance of the MagnaCat unit at Canton and discuss new pilot unit work which has corroborated the observations from the Canton unit in terms of the benefits of magnetic separation on catalyst performance. Additionally, we will discuss development of Magnetic Hooks additives which potentially will allow MagnaCat to benefit FCC units with clean, non-metals contaminated feedstocks.
