The CRC process can greatly intensify the reaction in accordance with carboniumion ions mechanism, to promote the ideal reactions such as Cracking reaction, Hydrogen-transfer, Isomerization, Aromatization etc., and restrain the non-ideal reactions such as thermal cracking and thermal condensation during the reaction process, so as to improve reaction selectivity and the yield of light oil by 1.5-3.0 percentage point .At present, there are totally 20 sets of commercial industrial units with continuous and safe operation, of which the maximum capability is 2.6 Mt/a.
