This paper will illustrate how Lotus Notes & Domino is being used to deliver just-in-time knowledge from plant data, sample data, and energy efficiency data to Plant Operators while also allowing them to collaborate on how they deal with it. Integrating the shift schedule allows the knowledge to be targeted to the correct persons when they are in the plant since their Log Book, Orders, Work Permits, Targets and Routines are also included. Thus, Plant Operators have many reasons to make regular visits to the Command Post. How the Lotus Domino system has been extended for other applications reducing the need for extra hardware and training will also be shown.
