ENV-06-176 Voluntary Actions to Address Climate Change: A Survey of Strategies and Activities by US Refiners and Petrochemical Producers

In the spring of 2006, a number of members of the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) recognized a need to address the issue of climate change at the Fall conference. Among other actions, it was determined that a survey of current industry practices would be of value to the members and the two authors volunteered to conduct a survey. Herein we discuss the methodology employed, the survey results and the implications of our findings.
