Techniques have been developed for continuous on-line monitoring of flare gases, fuel streams and other related operational processes. These analyses provide real-time speciation and quantification of fixed gases, C1-C6 hydrocarbons, fixed gases, hydrogen sulfide and other sulfur containing species. These methods of character-ization are well suited for process optimization, fuel gas organics, organic sulfur determination and quantification, and flare monitoring and tuning. These methods can also used for compliance determination for several required emission statutes.
