This presentation will summarize options for calculating wastewater emissions. The methodologies and emissions rates from the new guidance will be compared with the established methods. The comparisons will be based on real refinery wastewater systems and supported by measured data. Strategies will be presented to help determine whether calculated emissions are representative of actual emissions. Detailed insight on WATER9 modeling tactics, assumptions and emission impacts will be provided.
