Thank you for the opportunity to offer my thoughts and ideas as to how the industry changes which moved us through ILSAC GF-1 and into GF-2 may continue and impact ILSAC GF-3 and affect all industry stakeholders. The July 1994 issuance of the ILSAC GF-2 draft specification was met with significant input from all corners of our industry. Many inputs challenged the specification on the basis of technical need and highlighted the need to consider business interests which are important to all of us. The issuance of GF-2, the template of GF-3, and factors affecting business to the year 2000, offer an intriguing backdrop on which to comment.
