In this presentation, we will discuss how field coaching, especially that of front line supervisors and line management, lead to culture change. Too often we spend significant resources on procedures, training materials, and instruction – which appear as “programs of the month” to employees – but don’t produce a sustainable change in performance on the job. We will discuss how field coaches work with employees at their job to develop competent and confident performance, as well as to identify and work through management issues that prevent culture change.
