The naphthenic oil industry in China has seen tremendous change in the last five years. It continues to evolve, driven by growth in demand and production, hydrotreated oil, meeting IP346, and the limitation of naphthenic resources. This presentation demonstrates that in three years China’s share of naphthenic oil will be over 30% of the global market consisting of hydrotreated oil. The export of naphthenic oil from China will increase sharply to encompass the Asia-Pacific market.
