This presentation provides the basic outline for building a comprehensive safety and health management system for a large construction project. Using the CITGO Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex as an example, their project spanned 31 months, cost $500 million, included 52 contracting companies, and logged in excess of four million hours worked. Yet, the project resulted in one OSHA recordable and was completed within the established work schedule.
