This presentation will visit the concept of “Personal Accountability,” and the role it plays in helping an organization to reach a “Zero” Safety Culture. We will look at accountability in a new light and offer one methodology to incorporate accountability at all levels of the organization. The Life Saving Rules and its structure will be introduced. The concepts of “Intervention Laterally” and “Escalation Vertically” will be introduced as one methodology in creating a safety culture where everyone is looking out for the safety of all employees.
