This session will discuss various approaches and options for upgrades and migrations of aging DCS systems and other automation infrastructure. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of different approaches will be performed. Case studies based on real-world projects will be discussed to highlight specific scenarios and analyze the results that were achieved. The planning and implementation process will be emphasized to identify specific success factors.
