The Phillips Chemical plant in Borger, Texas has significantly improved its reliability and bottom line performance by engaging its workforce in a defect elimination effort. The improvements at Phillips are especially interesting because they came after a TPM implementation that stalled out and did not deliver the desired results. We are re-energizing our effort by employing front-line leadership, an innovative workshop, creating a singular focus on defect elimination and consistently following through on actions started.
