RMC-03-84 Robotic Refractory De-line of a FCCU Reactor

This workshop will focus on a case study that employed a robotic tear out machine to remove castable refractory from a FCCU reactor. The reasons for the robotic tear out were increased safety for job personnel, job planning and scheduling, engineering criteria involved, job execution, and results required. A video presentation of the robot in action will be shared. Results were as follows: 1.5 days saved in schedule, $45,000.00 actual cost savings, Zero (0) injuries.
