This paper will introduce you to a proven data-based process that will allow you to design and implement an Operator-Assisted Maintenance Process. It uses maintenance history on the specific equipment in a plant to identify targeted areas where operation labor can be utilized on small maintenance tasks. These can be normal daily items that can save cost and increase reliability. The training requirements to support the process will also be examined and a training module to achieve the required training will be shared. Actual results from different plants will be shared.
