The turnaround of an industrial unit has a significant impact on the annual maintenance budget as well as on future performance indicators. An efficient management of the scope, detailed planning and scheduling, all associated with the implementation of best known practices, qualified and motivated labor to meet the challenges projected and, above all, an effective commitment of the leadership of REPAR Refinery and the Petrobras headquarters, were fundamental for the integration and prioritization necessary to meet the main targets. This workshop describes the metrics of the turnaround, the results and the management aspects involved, as well as other factors that were instrumental in the performance of a successful turnaround which will contribute to the improvement of the management of the “turnaround process” at Petrobras.
