Description:

Virtually all pump users have experienced repeat failures for decades. Elusive reasons for repeat failures often include risky design decisions made by uninformed pump manufacturers and design contractors. Many have made the (unfortunately, often quite valid) assumption that (a) purchasers are content to buy from the lowest bidder, and (b) profits can be made from future spare parts business. This presentation shows why there is a preponderance of repeat failures in industry and why reliability professionals must remedy pump failures through purposeful upgrades. The workshop draws on recent experiences and technical issues which some pump manufacturers either refuse to address or simply fail to understand.
