This presentation focuses on four systems built into the Confined Space Standard but are, unfortunately, not adhered to in a proper manner. The systems are: 1.) Responsibilities and training of confined space personnel 2.) Permit completion and compliance 3.) Ventilation controls and 4.) Preparedness of rescue personnel. As a turnaround veteran of many years, the presenter will offer "real world" scenarios and remedies. The attendees will leave the session with suggestions to behavior change that could prevent injury or death to personnel.
