Description:

Plant-wide oil mist systems have been in use in hundreds of reliability-focused petrochemical plants since the-mid 1960’s. The latest edition of the API-610 Standard for centrifugal pumps describes advantageous application parameters. In the United States, Canada, South America, the Middle East and Pacific Rim countries, oil mist lubrication has matured to the point where plant-wide systems are now being specified by major design contractors and owners. An estimated 100,000 pump sets are thought to be presently lubricated with oil mist. Cost justification and data on unsurpassed experience will be presented in this workshop.
