RMC-17-91 A Step Change in Turnaround Quality

Description:

A proactive quality assurance plan was developed and administered for a refinery turnaround with a realized step change in quality. This step change provided direct benefit to the refinery in terms of reductions in on-stream leaks and unit false starts. This was accomplished by developing a plan for quality assurance that included training at all levels, a quantitative audit process to drive learning and improvement, and overcoming cultural hurdles for success.
