Chevron's manufacturing work management process, referred to as the Routine Work Control (RWC) Process, is integral to safe and efficient execution of daily maintenance activities at all Chevron operated refineries. The goal of this project was to operationalize the wrench time study process into routine activities to achieve world-class productivity. This presentation will provide an overview of this effort including steps taken to operationalize this process, including: • Wrench time study procedure • Review study results • Improvement plan Also discussed will be the components of the successful support from the workforce and leadership to improve the organization’s maintenance performance.
