The Board of Directors Meeting is the semi-annual gathering of the Association’s leadership.  In addition to the Board business meeting, sessions feature speakers from government, business, and academia who discuss current issues of importance to the refining and petrochemical industries. Attendees also benefit from networking opportunities in a social settingt.

This year’s meeting takes place at California’s newest destination resort, Terranea, a short 40 minute ride from LAX.  The legacy of ocean stewardship lives on at this historic site on the Palos Verdes peninsula in Los Angeles County.  Formerly the site of Marineland of the Pacific, the world’s largest oceanarium of its time, featuring sea life, entertainment, and research facilities, Terranea remains true to its past by reinforcing preservation of biodiversity and the marine ecosystem.  The resort rests beautifully on 102 oceanfront acres with dramatic bluffs and vast views of the tranquil waves of the Pacific.
